Fundamental premise:

Shadowklan alliance members seek to group with their own. This is encouraged and expected. Shadowklan Alliance grouping is always the highest priority.

How we see others:

Non-clanners, especially pinkis, are seen as inferior and grouping with them is seen as a necessary evil on certain occasions. In this case, clanners will make use of pinkis and non-clanners but never become "friends" or seek them out. Clanners may exact tribute from a pinki in exchange for grouping with the clan or receiving assistance.

The RoI (rules of interaction) are intended for encounters with non-clanners. These encounters are expected to be limited or unplanned.

The 3 grouping scenarios:

Ordinary grouping: with Shadowklan alliance members.

Extraordinary grouping: PUG (pick up group) with pinkis or non-clanners.

Sanctioned Extraordinary grouping: special relationship individuals/guilds or special events (dragon raid for example).

Unusual circumstances:

Because Dvergar permits grouping with non-clanners this does not mean that clanners (the players) can bypass rules by creating non-clan characters that will interact with the clan on a regular basis.

Another problem could arise where a clanner's pinki guild regularly groups or assists the clanner. Members may play as non-clan characters but these must be kept distinct from their clanner identity. Dvergar provides a venue for anonymous and truly immersive roleplay.

The clan may develop ties with a non-Shadowclan guild but regular grouping with such a guild would need to be sanctioned by the leadership.

It is also possible a clanner or the clan as a whole develops good relationships with individuals who are not in any way affiliated with the clan. In this case, the leadership could lay out special ROI with these persons or guilds.
